Joseph DeCola trained at the Indiana University, Bloomington. Mr. DeCola holds a Bachelor of Science, Ballet and Excercise Science. Mr. DeCola has distinguished himself as Brom Bones in Legend of Sleepy Hollow, in the Pas de Deux The Adventurers from Strike Up the Dance and as the Prince in Cinderella.

In addition to his dance training with the Indiana Department of Ballet, Jacobs School of Music, Joseph trained at the BalletMet Dance Academy (Full Scholarship), Nashville Ballet Summer Training (Full Scholarship) and the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater (Full Scholarship). Dancing with Sacramento Ballet, Joseph has performed in ballets such as Michael Pink's Dracula, and in Sacramento Ballet's production of The Nutcracker.
