Gillian Johnson joined the Central West Ballet as a full time member in 2015. She has distinguished herself as Mary Lennox in Ronn Guidi's The Secret Garden.

Gillian Johnson has also distinguished herself as the Waltz of the Flower Queen and as the Spanish Lead in The Nutcracker, in Summer Lonely Two from René Daveluy's Summer Rhapsody, as Cupid in Coppélia, as a Gypsy in Dracula, in The Nutcracker, in Cinderella, in A Parisian in New York, in Nutcracker in Jazz, in René Daveluy's Pirates, Cowboys and Damsels, Love Duets, Pictures at an Exhibition, L'Arlésienne, and House of Folk, in the Firebird Trio from René Daveluy's 1001 Nights, as well as in Jan Clark Fugit and René Daveluy's Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
